An identity system and e-commerce site for a publishing company that’s yours and ours.

(Y)ours Press, a new small independent publisher, wanted to establish themselves as a waypoint for access to things we can learn from and make space for sharing knowledge, culture, and stories.

The name of the company (Y)ours was a nod to things being shared–yours and ours. Visual phenomena, like that of lenticular images, allowed us to present two things at once. The lenticular felt appropriate as it allows for two images to coexist simultaneously.

We used a lenticular effect to create an identity system that made visible the cooperative nature of (Y)ours Press.

When printed or in a static form, the identity solidifies as the slatted logotype.

On social, the lenticular in motion is active and creates a lot of opportunity to play with illusion, image multiples, duo messaging or a combination of any of these media.
