The name of the company (Y)ours was a nod to things being shared–yours and ours. Visual phenomena, like that of lenticular images, allowed us to present two things at once. The lenticular felt appropriate as it allows for two images to coexist simultaneously.
The identity system for (Y)ours Press is quite versatile. It’s core element, the lenticular motif doubles the functionality of text and image, doubling the possibilities of the identity system.
The e-commerce site was designed to play off of the physical nature of stacking pages in a book.
When printed or in a static form, the identity solidifies as the slatted logotype.
On social, the lenticular in motion is active and creates a lot of opportunity to play with illusion, image multiples, duo messaging or a combination of any of these media.
